I should have known the smack talking notime would show up on this post. You better watch out it sounds like your lake is about to be cleaned out!!! If I wasn't going to Scottsdale next weekend I would join in the raid and help clean you plumb out of crappie. I would leave the green carp for you to catch!!!

Actually the ProCraft has been a very good boat, just my son is turning 16 and is going with me less and less, the wife and daughter don't go much so I am down sizing to a boat I can modify to my liking!

Any known problems with Mariner? I just figured it was made by Mercury and was pretty much the same as Mercury.

good luck cleaning out the lake with 15 to 30 mph n. winds and higher gusts contrary to what everyone says you aren't going to find any protected productive areas right now. But come on down make sure you come into crowder and spend some cash w/ Todd I am sure he will appreciate all of your moneys spent in his store. He does make an awesome hamburger.

I take it that Glass Constructed Stringers are Good or better than wood incased in fiberglass?
NOT 100% SURE BUT I HAVE HEARD(FROM A DEALER WHO WOULD KNOW)THAT THERE WAS A ISSUE WITH THE ON SOME OF THE OLDER BOATS(1993 AND OLDER) THAT THE STRINGERS WOULD COME LOOSE DUE TO ROUGH WATER TREATMENT(BIG WAVES AND HIGHSPEED),,ON THE TWO I HAD(17-6 AND A 18-4) I NEVER HAD THIS ISSUE THAT I KNOW OF(HOW WOULD YOU TELL?)NOT SURE BUT I THINK YOU START TO SEE STRESS CRACKS ALONG THE HULL CHINES,,IAM SURE SOME ONE ON HERE KNOWS FOR SURE IF THIS IS A PROBLEM WITH THE NEWER DESIGN OR NOT,,,,ANY WAY IF THEY LOOK GOOD AND EVERYTHING CHECKS OUT I HOPE U HAVE GOOD LUCK AND LOTS OF ENJOYMENT WITH EITHER ONE U CHOOSE
