    Hey Cook do you have any idea what the roads are like around smithville lake ?? I think most of the ice & snow went east & south from here.Thanks. Jim C.

    Don't know about Smithville but I 44 was fun tonight. I just got in and I noticed other drivers were swapping paint kind of like demolition derby. Saw 4 different accidents from Springfield to Joplin. Be careful in the morning it will still be slick.

    We didn't get much-but ya gotta watch out.The road will be clear for a mile,then a little bend in the road will have 6-8 inches drifted on it.(lots of wind tue.)
    Not sure if ya plan on fishing,but I'd give it another day to settle down- went from 52F mon to 28F tues w/30 mph gusts to 16F right now.

    Would be a good day for a rabbit hunt!
