The fish are suspended about 6 feet deep in 10 to 22 feet of water and hanging tight to pole timber. Good Luck
anyone able to tell me where the crappie are holding (depth) since there are no more fishing reports this time of year. We will be at Lightfoot tomorrow morn (sat)
I am taking a good friend of mine fishing (and his son) both first time out fishing. ever. So I hope I can take them somewhere they will have a good time and want to continue fishing.

Welcome PommeKing! Lots of great folks here and information too. Thanks for the report. Have you been catching some nice fish there? What are they hitting? Haven't been there this year. Usually put in at bolivar landing, and head back up river.
I just KNOW it was a big one!!!
Mike
Good luck! I go to Pomme quite a bit and have not had much success this year. Heading their again next week end. Let me know how you do.
Hey JoeCrappie.
Not very good yesterday actually.
Like I mentioned above I took a good friend of mine and his son. Well like most kids they cant still still long so the Crappie fishing just wasnt going to happen. Im not sure if they were biting good or not because he kept stomping around in the boat and banging stuff so I decided we would be better off trolling and casting for bass (even though I dont know much about that) but we did manage to catch a couple decent largemouths and even a 22" muskie.
Then his son turned on my live well and bilge pump without me knowing it, so my battery drained and I had no trolling motor.
Called it a day early.
kids.
Milkman,That sounds about like my luck . Only I'm usually the clumsy footed restless one. Better luck next time.
