I know, I know, I know... It wasn't always I had a few bucks to spend instead of fixing everything myself. Can't argue with free, one bit. It just comes down to the value of the time. Just think about how many hours TOTAL you will spend cutting, tieing, sinking brush over 20 years. I would rather be fishing. Never rots. Grows bigger wth algae over time. Becomes "natural" with age. Fish find it and stay. (But a little cedar helps too!)

Dont know how big a pond youre talking about. A small pond can overpopulate and the fishs' growth will be stunted and all you'll catch will be smaller fish (so I read). If youre in a lake then that's another story....just gotta find where the big fish are living and get away from the dinks.:o

That's my point. Always having to keep putting in more. 5 or 50 will still rot away.

I seen on the site about ten of them in one group. Looks pretty good. Did not see a price but I better buy 20 then I can have two more spots that will produce big and more fish. Will they show up on side imiaging?? My guess is yes. Anymore every spot even if put out by ourselves is public spots because of the new high tech electronics. Found that out the hard way during Crappiemasters national championship. Boats on some of my personal hard work. May get 20 anyway.

in a small pond you catch a crappie keep it feed it to the coons, or if it is big enough cut off head gut and fry up, every one. it will only help. you can also sein the pond or throw net and take out the small ones. it wont hurt the pond.
