    Default Good trip up north

Had another good fishing trip up to Wi. even though the weather was lousy and I came home with a cold. Got my personal best smallie at 21" 5#5oz and a big walleye at 30" 9#14oz and some good eating northerns in the 7-11# range. My brother got a 7# 12oz walley and we had 5 eyes total and the smallest was 22". All these fish were caught on live bait.
The fish are hanging on a fish cleaning station the eye with the bear can in it's mouth is my big one. We had 5 walleye that day and 7 norther pike. The fillets on top are walleye and the redder ones are the pike.

    Default Nice work, Barn!

That walleye looks thirsty ... and (judging by the pics) it looks like the fish's intentions wore off on the fish cleaners, too!

    Nice fish!

Those are some great fish, and I assume that the "strange beer" in the corner was for the fish and you had some Bud :D
