blk/Chart tube jigs fished 12 feet deep, 15 feet from the bank drifting. Bite was good at times and you could really catch them. Then they would slack off and you had to move or wait. We moved to keep repeating the pattarn. Good Luck to all and most of all get there soon as the spawn is going to take place in the next 2 weeks if temperatures hold.

I also saw some fishing being cleaned that were caught on Truman in the cedars. 20 Crappie and a nice cat fish in the 12lb range.

I got down about 3 yesterday and in the water by 4 or so. My buddy told me we needed 2 fish to eat with the morels he found and I caught two. Success! (after dipping about 40 trees). Rained last night with some hail mixed in - got cold. I doubt that will help.

The crappie went to the bank today. Marvin had limits by noon. Only a few creeks produced real shallow (jig 14" below slip bobber - 4 feet off the bank), but we caught some whoppers (11 1/2 to 14") trolling. Really fun. The storm will push them back, but only for awhile. Let the good times roll.

I'm up on the lake. Fishing was better below the dam, but I wanted to catch some of the big females on the lake. I've been up here the last few days. Trolling produced all females, slipbobbering the bank produced nice males. I'm not sure if I'll still be here Saturday, but if so, I'll look forward to seeing you guys.

thanks, guys. spent this afternoon (after the rain stopped) working the bank. Limits of nice males 11-12. Richard Bowling was out with a camera crew filming with some NASCAR clients and had 27 nice females trolling. I like it.
