My apology for sounding so harsh about staying away from Kansas. Just giving you Missouri crappie hounds a rough time. Actually, I'm a Missouri born Ozark County, Missouri lad. Cut my teeth down on White river and Little North Fork river before it became Bull Shoals Lake. My parents sold (gave it away) the 420 acres farm at Pontiac, Mo back in 1946, and moved to Springfield, Mo. Was a Missouri tax payer up till 1996, when wife and I moved to southeast Kansas to her parents (inherited)ranch. Would rather spend all my fishing time in Missouri---Stockton, Pomme, or Truman. You can't beat the Missouri lakes---some of the best for fishing.

Beautiful fish, Lee. I'm planning on fishing a few Kansas lakes this spring and summer. Hope I can tie into one like that. Just hope I don't soil myself!:o

He just got tired of walking up and down all these beautiful rolling tree covered hills and wanted to live on all that flat ground out there:p
