I have one and it works great. Can get manual or automatic. Mine is automatic. Had it on while wade fishing in Granada, got a little deep, got the sensor in the water and it went off. Quite a sight! Just ask Drfish, we got a big laugh out of that. Had to buy a rearming kit for 30 or 40 bucks but that experience erased all doubt that it will automatically inflate when in the water.

I went to Bass Pro last weekend with the intention of buying one. I tried them all on and was dissappointed about how they felt. They seemed to fit tight around your neck and they set close together on your chest. I would try them on before purchase, they would be handy.

I have one. As a non-swimmer I always wear a life jacket and this type is a lot cooler and less bulky that a normal type life jacket. Just always be sure that your indicator is green.

i have one and have been lucky enough to have used several different brands through the years in friends boats. to me all have been more comfortable than a regular life jacket. i think they are a good investment. i think you will be happy with one once you start wearing it regularly.
