    Default 6' 6" Rod?

    Gentlemen,

I'm looking for a high quality 6' 6" crappie rod. I have several great rods some 5', others 10', 11', 12' and such. I love the Pro Angler Rods, B & M Rods and Outlaws. I look forward to getting an Ozark very soon. However does anybody know of a great 6' 6" crappie rod?

    Thanks,

    Brad

I bought two of the Wally Marshall 6'6 light action rod/reel combos at BPS last week. They were $39 apiece. Haven't got to use them yet, but they seem to be pretty good quality. I understand these are normally on sale for about $29 during their Spring Fishing Classic that will start soon.

I know several guys that use fly rods for Crappie but they just do not have enough tip for my liking.

For an inexpensive Ultralight Rod. I'm pleased with my Micro lite from Bass Pro. Great for casting and real sensitive.

I got a Loomis that I use and love it. But if the price is to high I would agree with Bugs and go with Ozark rods I have a few in different sizes and like em all.

Thanks for the info. I called and visited with Mr. Ozark Rod himself today. I believe I'll try one of them.

I also put a Falcon and G Loomis in my hand this morning. Wow!! They are nice, might try them as well.

    Thanks,

    Brad
