Thread: so many newbies ....

Jeremy here. 39 yo live in Independence, grew up in Clinton fishing Truman lake. We own a store so I fish when I can. Just got an old 16ft v with a 25 hp johnson. Doing some updating, hoping to be up and running in the next month or so. Plan on targeting Smithville, blue springs, and Truman mostly. Trying to devote more time to walleye this year also. More than happy to share my boat for you guys that wanna get out when I can.

Another newbie here from Belton. I've been fishing mainly Truman for a lot of years, but primarily from our pontoon tied up to a tree using minnows. We sold the pontoon and have a Lowe FM165WT on order. Looking forward to learning new ways of catching crappie, especially jigging. My wife loves to fish too, maybe more than me, although that might be nearly impossible.

I'm looking forward to reading these forums and interacting and learning all I can.

Little late on this one but here it goes. I'm 23 years old and have been fishing since I could hold a rod. I'm a fire fighter/ paramedic ( which means I get two full days to fish after everyday I work ha ha) I do most of my fishing on Truman and LOZ but I'll wet a line anywhere. I've got a Lund I fish out of ( in the process of getting a bass boat). I'm a youngin I know but I catch my share of crappie and am always willing to help out someone having some catching issues. That's my fishing side in a nutshell.

New to the forum. Living in Sedalia and I like to do most of my fishing at Truman lake, it's tail water and Lake of the Ozarks. Most of the time I launch out of Truman at the dam. I enjoy reading fishing reports when there is fishing to be had; not much of that lately!

New member as of today, looks like a lot of good guys around here. I fish at MTL 99% of the time. I started a new thread on the side/down imaging page...check it out maybe some of you guys that fish MTL can give me a pointer or 2 about electronics. Thanks, Jason.
