    Default Matt from Sedalia

Hello everyone!! First off I have to say that I have thoroughly enjoyed reading through the posts over the last few days since I found this site....THOROUGHLY!!!

I'm 28 years old and live in Sedalia, MO and fish Truman mostly. I have been out of fishing "hardcore" for few years while I was in school, however with school out of the way now..Fishing it is! My wife and I just bought our first boat which is a 95 17' Crestliner deep v. We went with the deep v because we have a 4 year old daughter and didn't want her falling out as easy. I have been around fishing my entire life and have always loved it. My father always had a boat, however never seemed to have time to use it so I usually fished the pond by our house quite a bit. Then I started going with my great uncle about 4 years ago when I had time away from school, work, and the family. Roughly 10 times a year. Pretty much all I know about fishing big lakes is at Truman and that is VERY limited! I found this site trying to find some tips on where to take the new boat fishing for some spawning crappie and was surprised to find so many people readily sharing information!! Thanks and I'm thinking this site is now officially going to become one of my "daily" internet surfing pages! ha ha!!

    Robby Barbre
Fish mainly at Wappapello Lake but head to Enid and or Sardis couple times a year. I am a young pup (28 almost) but have been fishing with my dad since I was about 5. He has a 97 gold flaked champion with a 200 mariner on it and we usually fish out of it on the weekends from November to March. If he isn't fishing I'll take my 16' Alumnacraft with the ever trusty 25 hrs mercury on it. I absolutely love to crappie fish and if it wasn't for being a maintenance manager at Burch Foods I'd probably be fishing 7 days a week!!! Anyways if you see us fishing stop and say hi....We are usually on the chaonia end of the lake. Hope to get to know some of you guys!

Thought I would introduce myself. My name is Jason and as you can tell by my sign on name I am an insurance agent. I live in Ozark and have an independent insurance agency in Springfield handeling personal and business insurance. I grew up fishing LOZ with my grandparents. I still consider LOZ my home lake. I typically fish from November to May. I like the winter time better because I have the lake all to myself. I look forward to meeting many of you. Thanks

herchammer is the "handle", the name's John. I live in Cameron, Mo. I grew up down around Springfield. I'm career Missouri Air National Guard, CrewChief. I've recently rekindled my romance with fishing; I think my wife is starting to suspect..... Any way I haven't gone huntin for crappie since I was a little fella, with my Grandpa, and that's been a criminally long time ago. I got bit by the bass bug at the beginning of the spring, and I've been trying to scratch the itch ever since. I've been fly-rodding for bluegill and redear, but I'm anxious for a shot at some crappie. I have four year old twins, a son and a daughter, and they love goin' out to the dock and catchin' bluegill. So, that's my wordy way of saying "howdy Y'all".

Hey guys. My name is Mike and I am in the Air Force. I love to fish, but other than just a worm and bobber on a hook, I don't know much other than that. I ate my first crappie last witner and I am addicted. However, I cannot seem to catch them :/ Any advice would be great. I live in the Warrnsburg/Knob Noster/ Whiteman AFB area.
