    Default Another Smithville Monster!

A buddy caught this pig Sat. on Smithville Lake. It's the biggest I have ever seen come out of the Lake. Lee

I know that it was caught casting a kalins grub 2" into cover. Upper part of the lake. Tennesee shad color. Yes more fish than this was caught. Not very many this size though. Lee

    Default Nice fish...

Finally got to familiarize myself with the general area today as I drove from STL to Fremont, NE, for a video shoot tomorrow. I also saw the sign for Maple Leaf on my way over today.

I've obviously been polluted by crappie.com. I make my drive looking for lake signs that I've seen on the site. After the shoot tomorrow, we'll head over to Cedar Rapids, IA, for another shoot. I'll keep my eyes peeled again...

    Again, nice fish!
