Congratulations to you both! Thanks for sharing
Went for right at 3 1/2 hours today and caught a few, nothing spectacular. Stayed North of the W Bridge. Cleaned a half dozen but all nice and all Males.
I'd say getting close. See what the rain does? Lost a few right on the bank, they were just taking swipes at the jig. I was told by a guy we were fishing by the bite really picks up abut the last hour or so of daylight but the son has plans. Good Luck All.

Nice job guys!! Good looking fish, tailfins getting rough. Heard the same thing about the late bite, also heard through the grapevine that the last fish sampling at the Ville showed more 10” crappie than ever, the changing of the limits seems to be working.

Looks like a good catch!!!
those were some good males for sure. I have been ketchn in my honeyhole spawning spot for couple weeks and they are in the stuff and right outside of it. IF your having them whack at it and not connect go smaller. I like to use 32nd' and 64ths under a tiny bobber and they hook up with those just fine.
Know this has to be huge thrill for you Bill having your son out fishing with you. Congrats to you both and tell him we all thank him for his service.
