Thread: Thump crew gotrdone!

I was up early out ready to go turkey hunting but almost no gobbling so checked out multiple places that are public and only couple folks out chasing. As I have another buddy coming from Mark twain lake to fish with us just went down to launch area to see how bite was.

Got some Intel crappie were spawning in couple isolated places but hadn5 committed. So went back gathered my guys and hit bank. Fishing was slow for my friends but I managed 6. Fish were scattered but in my usual spots I was ketchn.

Left minnow boy to the bank and took bymo to check out a spot I located last year where they started spawning early. Sure enough KABOOM happened and i pulled several out of weeds. Called bymo to go ahead of me and he started ketchn a few.

After while picked up our friend and hit local Chinese buffet for our Linner. Took a nice power nap for hour and went back to fishing. Left minnow boy at place he could sit comfortably and bymo and I went back to honeyhole. Sure enough it had reloaded and we started whacking them. I finished my limit and bymo needed a few more.

We went back to our friend and school of crappie must have moved in and he was having a ball ketchn one after another and had a big Slab in bucket. Bymo joined in the ketchn.

Couple came to us I usually provide lots of crappie to and I said I would show them where to fish. Pointed out brush and changed their jigs to ones that would work. They started jetchn especially the wife which was cool.

One of those perfect nights with glorious sunset, great friends and the fish cooperating.

My guys finished their limits and we headed back to clean and have pie minnow boy made.

GREAT day with good friends doing what we love. Truly a blessing.
