    Default Fishing with a different Dog at Smithville


    Usually Joedog but this time my Dog Sadie. Ears Flapping in the wind, lick'n crappie and didn't out fish me so just like Joe was there!

    Fishing was slow, found them but they would run and all on the move. Caught some shorts. Hard to find warm water yesterday. I stayed North of W ramp and most water was still below 60, could find some back on rocky banks up to 62.6. I was off the water by noonish so I assume it warmed up more.

    I don't like pre-spawn!

    My buddy and I spent most of our day under W yesterday in our kayaks. Lots of boats out there. We caught a good amount that were over 11. Seemed like the water temp was creeping up to about 60 at the end of the day.

    Pillars were Full for Sure! Normally tons of dinks but the kayaks seemed to be North of the bridge away from the pillars, hopefully they were doing the catching!
