Default Mixed bag on blustery day

Woke up before daylight to go checkout another hunting area. Buddy had messaged saying too bad for his boat but told him no problem. Have had some really good fishing days with high wind and bad conditions.

They were gobbling decent at different place but had guy right behind me from house and he was doing same thing. On way out buck ran across road and I nailed him. Stopped and tossed him in trunk to process later.

Buddy met me at lake but he was stressed from too many things going on so told him to go TCB.

Have a bud who has lake that doesn't get fished much so decided to go there and see if I could make a dent in population. Soon as I got there found some spawning and had fun dangling lure in weeds and picked up quite a few who KABOOMED my jig. Si much fun!

Then moved around lake about 15 acres and casting out with steady retrieving led to great results. Used small jig with curly tail on 16th head. Fish were good 9+ to 11.5 and solid. Leaving early afternoon so couldn't finish 30 fish limit but did make small dent in population will come back with friends. 22 keepers so good day.

Forecast is for 80 degrees so should I UT all the lakes I fish dead in5o spawn. Next week could be nuts!

There's my buck without a mark on the meat. Road kill stew mighty tasty! LOL Name: 20240411_114309.jpg

Guess the rabbit feet brought you good luck fishing. Nice job, good eats.
