Thread: Not spawning yet but still had great day.

Went to my cabin as buddy called to say they were on the ba KS at one of my lakes. Took my neighbor from condos who is still learning and we hit the bank. They were not in close yet but we're in brush in usual places.

I started ketchn right away but my buddy didn't. Still trying to get the hang of this. I was pitching past brush and let it swim by the brush or rocks with 16th jig w curly tail in white or yellow.

Took a while but ketchn was steady for me. Another guy came up to us and he caught one and my buddy did as well.

I finished my limit and we went b back to cabin to clean and relax. Beautiful day but wind was up, again. Neighbor came by with fresh eggs for us so we gave him our filets. He cuts our grass if we don't get there soon enough so always like to keep him supplied.

While there he switched his line from clear to hi vis 6 lb like I use. When we went to another lake the ketchn was good again for me and Ben joined in the fun this time. With the hi vis he could avoid getting hung up so much and caught quite a few.

Fish still staging and not quite there but any day now they will as water warms.
