    Default Finally got out a couple of days.


    Not Missouri but I snuck over to Kinkaid in southern Illinois Friday. I was livescoping a bunch of fish but they were spooky. They would leave before I could get within jig pole range. I rigged up a casting rod with a jig under a slip bobber set at 10 feet. It was game on!!! I hammered out a limit after hitting 4 spots. Went back out yesterday. Same pattern but the wind was much worse. Caught a bunch of small males all colored up in their spawning tuxes. Wound up keeping ten between 11-12 inches. It was good to be back out on the water.
