Default FRESH FEESH is what's for dinner!

Crappie I caught yesterday were ready to go tonight. Had yellow mustard coating and then Italian bread crumbs. Cut up onions and portobello mushrooms in sautée pan with butter, minced garlic and olive oil. As they cooked suddenly remembered chopped spinach and added that.

After simmering vegetables added filets and it came out perfect.

My wife doesn't have much of an appetite but she loves this meal and ate lots more than usual.

    Nothing like fresh crappie!

I like mustard rubs for smokin meat.
With mild crappie, does it turn out very mustardy?
