Wife and I went to the Villages north of Orlando FL to visit our great friends Kay and Byford who is bymo on CDC. He and I fished a lot together when they were in STL area and he has a boat down here and we hit the local lakes. Closest one is lake Griffin where Slab lives and we have fished with him before.

I let him know I was down and we were going on Griffin so we made plans to meet up. Bymo has been having devil of a time trying to convert to Lithium batteries first buying 2 Chinese obes that wouldn't hold a charge and trying to reach them when they r on Chinese NEw year break has been impossible. So he went to local dealer bought one and that has been a nightmare where it has not worked and been at their place more than his.

He charged up and we went out to meet Slab. He had been out before us and with his LS couldn't find them. We pulled ip and on cue bymos batteries did not work. Slab quickly offered use of his spare one and we followed him to his house. He brought it out along with charger and also told him about Cdc sponser who he should have dealt with especially since you deal with owner directly. Bymo is returning the one he bought locally and will call thus guy. BTW it was about to storm and he tossed me his rain coat as we had left ours at house. What else could ho wrong?

He did laugh at us quite correctly and made a video of how silly we looked and put it on his YouTube channel. You should check it out and like and subscribe to it for him. Would really enhance his channel!

Slab is a great guy for thise who havnt met him yet and boy did he take care of us.

We did get out and manage to do some ketchn. Went to a spot bymo had caught before and set out some poles with minnows and bobbers along a creek. Caught 3 good keepers and some shorts.

Storm clouds got dark and heard thunder so packed ip and raced to ramp. Darkest clouds and rain were right where we were going of course. We had Bimini up and I had his raincoat so wasn't terrible.

On way home after 5 minutes clouds opened and sun came out. Oh well.
