Thread: Dock dipping on nice day

Buddy shamed me for sitting around/napping on previous couple days so had to get out. Met him at an island on lake where previously and usually we get on em and he had caught several nice ones day before. Well today nada. So I left him to go to my slip at condos where I know where they are.

Kaboom happened as soon as I got there as the crappie were cooperating with an occasional green carp. Lots of thumps but nothing that I could even streeettch to a good pic. Caught around 30 and nothing worth keeping or taking to neighbors but lots o fun.

Pretty day and then heard couple talking to lady I didn't know from a friends who used to take me fishing on his private lake close by but had passed condo. Turned out she was family friend they sold it to and couple bought a condo here so I do what I do and joined in conversation and turns they both love eating crappie so have more folks to give fish to and filled them in on their neighbors.

Overall nice way to spend an afternoon ketchn and talking.
