    Default Sautéed crappie n spinach

Sometimes you feel like doing something different and since my wife loves my sautéed trout. Plus I do have some crappie after giving away most of it so here we go.

Cut up mushrooms red onion and started melting butter then adding olive oil w chopped garlic. Added the chopped spinach and then 10 crappie filets.

Let them simmer under cover for a while and KABOOM it was on. Had leftover garlic and wine reduction linguine noodles plus some marinara from my wife's meal. Warmed them up then on the plate with the sautéed crappie and it turned out glorious!

Really did this for Keeferfish and thos3 foolish enough to turn there noses at trout!

Along with my white zinfandel and wife's blueberry merlot it was perfect meal!Name: 20240109_174754.jpg

Tasted better and anytime I can see my wife clean her plate when I put a pile on there it's a huge win!

Looks better than trout for sure. This fat boy prefers a crisper version but we do put walleye in foil on the grill. Just messing with you Keith bet it was good. May give a try at it when my spinach comes up this spring!

Looks good to me. I like catching trout, eat them every once in a while. But do like crappie alot better.
