Gave Pomme a go yesterday for crappie. Due to the temps did not get on the water until 1100. Water temp 51, lake down a bit, 837.8. Had a report from a friend (who owns a tackle store) they were biting baits 8-25 FOW near structure. Think he is selling lures, I lost plenty. The bite is lite, but only 3 keepers, fish were in the brush or suspended off structure. Was a beautiful afternoon to be out. Talked with a couple guys who were using the same pattern as I was, except with minnows.....They had a limit. May try again tomorrow. g

Hope to get out on Pomme today. Will probably rely on jigs too far to drive to find minnows.

Good luck. They’ll bite jigs, if not they can just starve…..lol.
