Beautiful scenery and some good catching. Hard to fish without the jigs….lol
I give majority of my ketch to friends family and anyone who wants them. But have had opportunity to take couple of my recipients out on the lake and show them how to getrdone themselves and both have graduated with honors from the hdhntr fishing academy. First my neighbor on LSL who has lived on lake for couple decades yet never fishedit and rarely went short distance even to lakeshore. Took him to my cabin and after short struggle started whacking them.
Then guy from stl who brings his family to local campgrounds to stay for deer season and hunt. Met him 10 years ago and have been regularly dropping off buckets o crappie to him. His son realty wanted to learn to fish so I gave him some instructions but he didn't take to it well. But this year they had listened brought jigs and even nibbles but no jigheads! I gave them a handful of smaller ones and some maribu jigs. Then showed him where to drop and how to fish them. Caught a couple while I was there but I still caught a limit and gave to them.
Then received this text yesterday. I'm so proud of them as dad got a limit and son almost did!
BTW also gave my son some tips too and he really started ketchn.

Looks like the cat is interested too. Alot of times it's just fun watching others catch.
