Default Good deed gets yuge reward

This is the rest of the story. Couple weeks ago I had breakdown and so did my sons Silverado. Mine was fixed quickly but after some work turns out son needed new engine. Chevy had put bad parts in their truck engines and apparently huge class action suit happening. Finally installed used engine so had to bring him up to pick it up.

Plus big cold front blowing thru so needed to prepare cabin for cold weather and drain pipes.

Of course that meant hitting the bank at couple of favorite lakes! Talk about insane fishing. KABOOM HAPPENED. Many guys use that as reason for not going out as surely the fish won't bite. WRONG. Had insane fishing as had my limit quickly on first trip. My son got his just a lil longer.

Had neighbor come by and pick mine up. Son left for home with his so I was staying so time to do chores and try another lake curious if that to was on fire.

YES was the answer as my network said they were right up close to bank. So put bobber on an couple feet of line and KABOOM happened yet again! Toss it out to few feet from shore slowly reel it in and BAM on cast after cast. Tossed bunch back I normally would keep as you could be selective.

So in my experience I have had incredible fishing days when storms or cold fronts came thru. Mostly a matter of wetting a line or not. Course it's easier for me since it doesn't involve launching a boat as I usually am just getting out of my car and walking short distance. Name: 20231030_185531.jpg

Nice that I can go 5 minutes and be on the bank ketchn at a underfished lake or 20 minutes either way and be on banks of different lakes that are excellent and accessable.
