Wow!!! What a way to spend an early fall day. Thanks for sharing.
Tried around the bridge piers and all around us shad were everywhere jumping and swimming by and right away hooked up but it was a bass but fun to play with. Then my rod went straight down and knew it was big and not a crappie. My UL rod bent and it went on big runs but finally hotvitvin and was a big wiper.
Then another good sized wiper grabbed on and had another tussle which was fun. Then couple more bass nut n o crappie.
Finally had Charlie drop me on bank where I canove and do what I do. Found piece of structure and quickly landed 7 kept 5.
We Then tried another area that took us a nice cruise with water still and enjoyed it seeing several new big houses and docks. Didn't ketch I went back to bank and quickly got into a bunch. Around 10 fow tight line casting with 1/16th jigs chartreuse and white.
Went to another lake where mot much action so we did more cruising to areas we hadn't seen. Great day on the water with a good bud.

Nice mess of fish. I love catching hybrids when I can find some. Pretty good eating too if you cut out all the red meat.

They do pull hard. Richard always told me to cast ento the middle of em. Doesn't matter what you cast, just cast. Usually ended up with one or two. Good pics.

You’ve put up pics of that buddy before… he looks just like a guy I know, Chuck.
He lived in kirkwood for long time and now in Macon.
