    Default My Fishing Wife Wasn’t Available to Fish Smithville Today


    So, I took my Actual Wife.

    She caught a nice one on her very first drop, I said see what happens when you Listen to me. That will never happen again!

    We did dang good at Ol’ Smithville for just a couple of hours on the water this morning. Caught 30 ish with at least 15 or more keepers but throwing back again today.

    Fished in 12 foot of water between 5and 8 foot down.

    The crazy thing is I purchased her license at 8:07 (that was the email confirmation time) on my phone at the ramp before we launched and her first keeper fish was in the boat at 8:27.

    That has to be some kind or record!

    Nice! I need to get Amy back out on the water. I suspect we should see some cooler temps here in the near future. This weekend is reserved for cycling!
