    Default Windsor Crossing 07.22.23

My buddy and I headed out to beat the heat and hopefully catch some fish before they went tight lipped. It was a pretty decent morning, launching by 6:10a and recovering by 9:30a. I spent the first 40-60 mins fiddle farting around with my MEGA Live. I got a new one back from Humminbird and the last time out, I reset my settings. Fumbling around and trying to get it clean was fun. Then I realized I mounted the dang thing on the opposite side of the stick. DUH HUGE shout out to Humminbird for replacing it under warranty, even though it was probably a tree that took it out.

After tossing a few 10" fish in the well, I hooked up this nice 13.5" fish.

Of course when you are fishing with a buddy, our goal is more fish and bigger fish. He though he had me, but at the end of the he was wrong. LoL

In the end we put a lot of fish on the deck, but only 10 keepers in that short period of time.

I mixed it up yesterday. I was using a Just Another Crappie Bait Co pearl head with a Bobby G Glow Shad and down sized to a Just Another Crappie Bait Co pearl head with a purple and orange wiggler.

Can someone remove the attached picture at the bottom? I don't know why it did that?

Nice job on putting your buddy on fish and getting a few to take home is always a plus.

Another reason I don't need to drag my boat north. LoL Well, that and the fees.
