with me recently officially retiring and the pontoon now being docked at Stockton state park marina it is an easy drive to the lake and get in a ready boat and go fishing and that is what the wife and I did yesterday as we trolled cranks south of the 245 bridge in the channel and had limited success with the wife waxing me 4 keeper crappie to ZERO and both of us had a short crappie . fish were taken on Pico baits (green sunfish / pink and orange) being pulled 50' back and were running 1.5 mph.
