I zipper the fish mostly cuz that lateral line (reddish/brownish flesh) "is where the majority of the mercury resides, and it's also the part that tastes the most 'fishy'.".

From what I was told.

So I "zip" them.

And cut out the cheeks, of course!!

It's good to catch anything, Except GAR. That's the fish that is always waiting for me.....

Walleye is some good eating fish! If you think crappie fishing can be tough, walleye fishing will drive you nuts. LoL That's what the guys in SoDak told me.

That walleye would make a couple good sandwiche.
