Awesome, sounds like a good day. Thanks for sharing
Amy and I headed out after 9am. Grabbed coffee and breakfast. We intended on Windsor Crossing and hanging a right. Yeah, every fair weather, "They're on the banks" fisherman was out.
The old dudes and their grandson that cut the line to launch. Well, that was enough to tell me to go somewhere else.
When we got to CC, we were welcomed with 4 boat trailers and 15 or more yakers. It's better than dealing with all the boats at the ramp.
We fished 7 FOW to 12 FOW, with 5 of the 12-14" fish coming out of 12 FOW 5 feet down. The others were smaller 10-11", but will eat just fine! 25 fish caught between us, only 8 kept. All caught in Just Another Crappie Bait Company wiggler heads with "Closer" bodies in green and brown & orange.

Sorry I didn't have pictures. I don't fall into the "They are on the banks" style of fishing. I'm hoping to learn how to target pre-spawn and post spawn crappie.
I was sharing the depth and jigs.
Some times it is hard to get photos. Glad you got a mess.
