Thread: Great day

Byford was getting his butt kicked by terrible allergy attacks and was up all night hacking so we didn't go turkey hunting or fishing and just took it easy while he recovered. Then around noon he took some advice and wanted to let it kick in so I said let me go to Kate and see what's up.

I did and KABOOM was what's up!first six casts were good male crappie and then moved to another spot and more KABOOMING took place w 3 more so I went back and grabbed a recovering bymo and went back


He tossed his rig out and joined in the KABOOM! Despite cold weekend and frost overnight they were still in close and only a couple others were fishing.

I limited out and he was close quickly but then he wore down and we left with a good bunch.

Ketchn in 5 fow to 1 and any color w chartreuse worked on small jigs

He took another nap and felt good enough to go out in evening and we hit another lake shore. Not as good but still a nice mess.
