    Default Hey you Missouri Guys

Occasionally I check in on the Missouri board and enjoy you guys post - 10 years ago we lived in Ozark and spent a lot of time on Stockton and Trumann (even got to fish with the famous Beagle man a couple of times) - we have probably fished Stockton a lot more during the spawn than Trumann - my wife and I are looking at a road trip up there in the next week or two and I was wondering about the spawn - I know there is several different variables on when crappie spawn however in my opinion one of the more important factors is the consistent water temperatures so any local information on these two lakes would be appreciated. Thanks Richard

I'd say you be able to have a good time at Truman in the next few weeks. You should just plan on being there around the MO CDC Crappie Camp - May 5th and 6th. Most go a day or two early and some make a week out of it. Good Luck!

Hope to see you there. Truman is on fire. Spawn is in the early stages, should be good for a bit.

I have two of my home lakes going in and out of spawn depending on cold fronts but hopefully same thing at truman and it will hold off til our CDC crew hit there.
