Because I was rigging, I didn't want to venture to far up to the bank to find out.

We pulled away and spot locked so we could take a break, pack up and have a cold one. Bank fishers came along, They had been at it as long as us but only had 2 in the boat. Told em to get out deeper on the flats. Hope it turned their day around.

I was out when it rained on Saturday. I put a nice limit on the boat. It came at a price with the weather! I was hurting later that evening from the wet, cold and wind that came in. I basically fished in the rain for an hour, but they were killing it during that time. As soon as it calmed down, it took me another 30-40 mins to catch 3 fish. LoL

I am always kinda jealous when I see guys out with their dads as mine didn't do anything that wasn't work. Congrats to both of you for the big stringers and also for not having to regret tossing perfectly good eating size fish away. Looks like you had one heck of a day!

so you were drifting around on the flats? did you focus on brush piles or trees?

Nah, open water is easier for rigging.
