Got out this morning with my dad. Both prepared to freeze and fight the wind, but the weatherman blew it. Absolutely beautiful today.
Water was like glass when we launched around 8:30 and had a warm gentle breeze a bit later when it did pick up some.
We immediately started catching but they were small. We decided we had all day and plenty of minnows so nothing in the box under about 10.5.
We’ll my poor dad spent the whole time tossing back 9’s and 10’s. All said we must of thrown back close to 2 legal limits of smalls.
By noon we both had our limits of larger fish. Not sure I’ve ever pulled in so many before my first pee.
They’re were definitely NOT on the bank this morn.
