Thread: Dreaming of crappie with tuxs on

Papa daycare and BIL doing poorly has kept me away from my cabin but kept dreaming of dark shadows attacking my jig in shallow water. Finally weather and circumstances allowed me to race north and hit the small section with some sticks and grass where I have hit spawners several times early before.

Made a mistake and told a buddy of m8ne to meet me there figuring he would b on docks but instead he and his friend were on my bank!. He is incredible fisherman but his bud was to left of where I needed to be and he walked right past my spot without trying and went 30 yards past.

I brought my 10 ft st Croix and starting swimming jig past grasses 6 ft off bank and KABOOM as the outlaw says and here comes the first one all dressed up just as I dreamt! Then another and another and still another! I a 10 by 6 foot area I caught 10 in a matter of minutes.

Then I moved to another section with weedy patches a ways away and finished my very quick limit.

You guys know that feeling where the lake is calling your name and you are praying that conditions are just right but family obligations have you doing your duty. Sowhen your plan comes together it is so
