Amy and I set out with the intent to spider rig, and then we jigged trees. Wasted an hour and some change searching tree after tree. Then we took the long rods out for an hour and change. Zip, zero, zilch, nanda! With a skunk looming, we were headed back to the ramp. I decided to hit a cove I fished in 2020. High speed trolling and scanning I found big schools of fish real deep. I dropped a jig down and broke the skunk. I noticed another school on a small tree and then found the huge school. In 1.5 hours, I put more than my limit over the rail. I brought home 15 keepers and had fun doing it. Amy sat back and read while I flipped them over 1 by 1.
