Default Shawnee Bend and Go Left 02/05

Amy and I set out with the intent to spider rig, and then we jigged trees. Wasted an hour and some change searching tree after tree. Then we took the long rods out for an hour and change. Zip, zero, zilch, nanda! With a skunk looming, we were headed back to the ramp. I decided to hit a cove I fished in 2020. High speed trolling and scanning I found big schools of fish real deep. I dropped a jig down and broke the skunk. I noticed another school on a small tree and then found the huge school. In 1.5 hours, I put more than my limit over the rail. I brought home 15 keepers and had fun doing it. Amy sat back and read while I flipped them over 1 by 1.Name: 20230205_154505.jpg

The sidekick is perfect! I can angle it forward to the point my toes are over the bow. I can sit and jig to give my back a break. Thank you again!

that's how you do it, do different things and hunt em up till you find them. that is one heck of a school! Then they even started biting.

That was the smaller school, too! I quickly learned that the outliers were the larger and hungry fish. The further into the school were the 10" fish.

The larger school was so deep that it took forever to get to them with a 1/4 jig.
