well pulled the trigger, helix 10, with down imaging and side imaging, hope it pays off for me. What I don't understand is my old garmin was ok, old and heck but ok, so today I am at the lake and just as I was sitting down my foot slipped and I hit the depth finder and broke it, knocked it into the lake, still hooked to the trolling motor, but under water, took 5 min for me to get up and pull it in. bam just like that, I need a new depth finder, hope the water tight seals are ok and all I will need is a new mounting bracket, get it hooked up later this week or next. then watch out carp, beagle is on the trail.

Glad you’re ok. Could have been worse. Sure wouldn’t want to take a dip with the water as cold as it is. I think Humminbird makes a great fish finder and unless utilizing live technologies everyone loves them. Hopefully your old unit still works as well.
