? ? Mark Twain Questions
Just talked to a friend, we will head to Mark Twain this spring for a day trip.
-When you recommend? He wants to time it for the spawn.
I have a 14' V-bottom with a 9.8hp. Not going to set any speed records.
- Would the John Spalding ramp be a good launch spot? Given the boat being used, would a different ramp be better?

-Where to get minnows? If we decide to. We will be coming from St. Louis area.

Hard to answer that question. Mark twain in the spring is fickle. Can be great then one hard rain and it's chocolate milk for a week! Lots of places to put that sized boat in. There is a bait shop out on hwy. One at the dam and southfork resort has minnows. We liked staying at South fork they have a mini convenience store, bait and close to a boat ramp. But book early as they stay full during the spawn.
