    Default Update on LoZ

Well spent 2 wonderful weeks at the lake. Didn’t catch many crappie the first week. There were loads n loads of shad on top of the water the whole time. American white pelicans just ate them up the entire time both day n night. I guess that’s why the crappie we’re biting very good. Never seen so many shad. Although we did catch enough crappie for a fish fry but we just couldn’t find many keepers.
After the first week we sorta gave up on the crappie. We explored the lake while fishing n caught lots of catfish and some very decent bass. I also caught a few Walleye. That was one of the highlights for me. We did have a fire every night and roster some mighty fine marshmallows and some tasty ball park dogs. Still never a bad time at the lake.
