Thread: Finally got out

Well I finally got out on the water. Brought my wife and boy and got out there late. Didn’t get on the water until 9. We tried brush piles, bridge piers and trolling using minnows, jigs and crank baits. We managed 1 keeper crappie, a largemouth and a big ole drum. I think if we’d have got an earlier start we’d have done pretty good but everybody we talked to wasn’t doing doing any good. Just being able to get out was worth the trouble though.
