Clear Creek - Truman 05/12
Accepted a tip that the bite was hot out there. I didn't take my chance with the ramp at Hwy TT, so I ran up from Windsor Crossing. I headed to the trees following the creek channel. Chased a few, put many on the boat. Kept 4 and the wind picked up so I headed to the arm of it that ran west to east. Hit 3 trees and put 6 keepers on the boat in no time. Lots of quality fish on trees. 11am and this slowed down.
I fished in 12-14 FOW catching fish 3 ft below the surface to 10 feet down. Very aggressive fish to include 6 over 13". 1.5 hours later I put the final 5 in the live well. It was an awesome day on the water.
