    Default LOZ Report

We had 2 boats fishing 3 days and put about 400 keepers in our boats total. Fished not too far from the dam and found most fish staging not actually on the banks. Late afternoons water temps got high enough a few were on the banks, but most caught casting jigs 4' to 8' of water early mornings and late afternoons. Late mornings to early afternoons fish were suspended 8' to 12' out in the middle of coves over absolutely nothing, but would bite decently if you could get a bait in their faces. I'm guessing if you went to the other end of the lake where the water is a little warmer they are already right up on the banks and more agreeable to eat.

Out of 400 fish we didn't have any big fish just keepers....fun trip though.

I'm back to chasing bass after this trip...good luck it should be on fire on the next warm-up.
