    Default Stockton trip

Planning to head to stockton for 3-4 days sometime during the next two weeks depending on weather. I am really going to focus on catching a few walleye and then crappie. I have only fished stockton a couple times and this is the one and only walleye I caught.

Would any of you experienced stockton folks care to share some advice on a good campground that will put me in a decent area for this time of year. I will be pitching a wall tent and need power to charge the boat batteries.
    Thanks,
    Mike

Hope you have a great time. Don't think you would go wrong at any of the campgrounds. Hard to beat the one at the state park nice facilities and central location on the lake. Make sure to fish the last hour of the day and the first hour of nite with jerk baits.

well with the water getting back to normal, and the walley coming back from the creeks I would say deep points, night crawler on a roadrunner, (chartruse) Or drag a big ole shiner I have on an accident caught a few walley up by Masters Island drifting a purple/char. jig tipped with a crappie nibble.
also a friend of mine said up turkey creek left side, just past the trees, crappie there too. Luck to ya

Thanks beagle man. I am waiting for less wind, rain and snow before I go. Crazy spring weather
