    Default Friday 04/01 Windsor Crossing

I left the house late, got to the water around 6pm, headed west to one of the smaller coves where there is nice creek channel. I searched for fish and found lots of movement. There were ton up in the 2-3ft of water and many holding in the 8-10ft of water column. I put 12 dinks in the boat and a few keepers. One was right at 13", but I put them back. I was trying to relax and not worry about cleaning fish. LoL The water temp was 56.7* that late in the evening. We are hoping to head out of Sparrowfoot Sunday morning to find some bigger fish and hopefully in quantity.

NOTE TO SELF and ALL: Don't get in a rush! No matter what, especially if you are by yourself. I got in a rush and lost my transom saver! UGH I had to drive home without one because my brain was scattered!

Yup getting in a rush is a sure way to make a mistake or forget something. I try to tell them this at work as I sit back and relax…lol. Sounds like a fun trip out. Hopefully you can find those big ones Sunday.
