My wife and I stayed there a few years ago, the best thing is that you can put it at Long Shoal which is close or go to Bucksaw or Berry Bend pretty easily to fish different areas.

Getting excited now never been on Truman before finalized our reservations at Grand River Resort for April 29- May 9. Not use to not having a dock to go along with a resort so have to trailer every day but refuse to pay $25 uncovered to $35 covered for a slip for 9 days $225 or $315 not gonna happen $20 I would do.

Hope you enjoy your trip, good fishing hole lots of fish to be caught, good luck
sounds like your set for a week of fishing
keep your lines tight as you never know
It will be fun really not going after a numbers game but more of an over 2lb or more trip as my personnel best is 1.8 caught up here in the frozen tundra. If I can find that one fish over 2 or close to three it makes the whole trip worthwhile pics and it goes back in. Not saying not going to keep some eaters but just a goal I would like set and break.

Yeah, you should definitely swing by the A loop at Bucksaw Campground. If the past years are any indication, there will be some eaters there, too!!
If you are looking for a personal best and are having to trailer anyway, I would stay in Clinton and launch at the Sparrowfoot ramp. Between there and Otter Creek are prime areas.
A033 reserved for Wednesday, April 27th thru Sunday, May 1st for me and keeferfish.
