Thread: Spoons????

I like using spoons in brush jigging them verticaly. size depends on the depth of water. usually a 1/4 ounce for 25 foot and under. if it is windy and the boat is blowing around you will lose a few. need to keep straight up and down

I fish Norfork mostly, and I get "binks" spoons. They come in different sizes and colors, I would imagine you can get them online

I used to use castmasters, but I checked on line and Cabela's found spoons 1/16 1/32 plain chrome for 1.25 or so, and castmasters were 6.00 anyway they work great around brush, and I will offer a suggestion change from treble hook to single hook around brush. good luck

Lure parts online has a kastmaster copy that comes with split rings. Just add your hook choice and you can make them very cheap. I like an 1/8 oz most of the time but sometimes go with a 1/4oz for deep water or ripping.
