    Default Junglejim's jigs worked!


    Junglejimjigs posted pics of some cool feather jigs he tied this morning. We had fished together in spring and wanted to buy some from so we agreed to meet up. He lives half hour from me so I went to local lake and look what greeted me when I arrived. He just caught what we both estimated was over 2.5 lbs and probably closer to 3 lb black crappie. Obviously those jigs u saw getrdone!

    We stayed another hour or 2 and caught bunch of dinks, gills and bass. Nice afternoon hookup.

    Real shame was bought myself a digital scale for Xmas and didn't pit it in bucket! DOH!

    I bought some jigs from him this year. absolutely beautiful. haven't had a chance to use them yet but I have no doubt they will work great. Looking forward to pics of your outing with him.

    Tiny little float n fly's have been killer this month. Jig used was a 1/48 custom chub tied on a #10 sickle hook. I retired the jig when I got home. It's my longest Black crappie estimated at close to 18", no scale or tape measure. Name: IMG_2276.JPG Views: 375 Size: 106.8 KB

    we didn't end up going. Jim was as excited as a kid on christmas morning woke up early and all he could think of is there might be a BIGGER one in that lil lake so he went there instead. LOL.
