Default Deer season with sons crew

At my cabin by t hill and we do well for hunting public land. Friday was THE most miserable day with wind gusts up to 30 + mph and cold. Opening day came wind blowing and cold but I whacked a good 8 pter before 7, one friend got another 8 pter few minutes later and my son killed 2 does then last friend scored with uoung buck! Later in morning I got a doe.

Great soup made by my son. Friends stopping by to share great start.

Next Day NW cold wind with big gusts didn't go out but kids did. I hit lake and almost got blown in water but did ketch 10 and kept 2. Wind settled down around 4 and went back and can't dozen w 5 nice keepers up to 11. 6 to 8 fow orange and chartreuse 16th jig. Buddy was at campgrounds with 1 crappie so I gave him my bucket.

Staying till Wed so will hunt and hit lake again with warmer weather coming.Name: 20211114_172700.jpg

Can't boil those horns enough to make them soft enough to eat
