ASCT Truman this Saturday
SO I decided to go ahead and try my luck against Truman lake this weekend in the first American slab tournament this weekend. Anyone else going to fish it? If you are there and see me (Blue ford and a junky red Nitro) please say hi! Good luck if you fish it, if not wish me luck!

Report- I didn't do well.... but with that said I'm proud that I went and tried and I did better than I really thought I would. 18 boats and I took dead last with #7.08. First place was 14.38 with a big fish of nearly 3 pounds. Best fish I caught was 1.25.... I was outclassed for sure. I believe I was the only person without a live scope, and I think I was the only person spider rigging. Still proud of my self for being able to weigh 7 fish and have a pound average on a lake I have never caught a fish on before.. Still very humbled. Totally different than LOZ.

what's wrong with a pound average? but lots of locals focus on truman and know what's up there so bully for you for entering! especially since they all cheated with their devils tool LS.
